A cool dude, James York, is starting a project for his PhD to help teach Japanese University students English by creating a Minecraft server as place for language exchange. The project is just starting, but it needs more volunteers.
Go check out their forums and sign up. If you’re a Minecraft fan (if you’re not, you DEFINITELY should get the game. It’s one of the best games I’ve played ever) and want to help people out in learning English and perhaps learn some Japanese yourself, then please stop on by.
I think this is a wonderful and unique idea for learning languages. More people should get creative like this. We have all these possibilities at our disposal, why not utilize it, and have some fun while doing it too?

I’m definitely going to keep an eye on this project.
